Thunder Team Report
(Tue, 07 Feb 2012 02:44:44 PST)

A stretch of nine out of 11 on the road includes the current run five consecutive away for the Thunder. Oklahoma City (19-5) has been strong in enemy buildings all season, jumping out to a league-best 10-4 record on the road.

Monday night's visit to the Rose Garden in Portland ended with a hard-fought 111-107 victory in overtime. There's no secret formula to the Thunder's approach to the road.

"We just take it one day, one game at a time and just take the simple approach that has been working for us," Oklahoma City Coach Scott Brooks said.

And as much as the team enjoys playing in front of raucous crowds at Chesapeake Energy Arena, there's something about facing the wrath of opposing fans.

"We've had good success because we've just focused on the game,"...

A satisfying victory for Oklahoma City was a head-scratcher for Portland. Kevin Durant had 33 points, including a dunk with 2.9 seconds left in overtime, and the Thunder defeated the Trail Blazers 111-107 on Monday night. But the focus of the game fell on a goaltending call on Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge with 6 seconds left in regulation that tied the game at 103 and would send it into...

With "Beat L.A.!" echoing through a second straight sellout crowd, Williams hit the tying jumper, then followed with the 3 for a 91-88 lead.

(Sun, 05 Feb 2012 20:09:00 PST)
