Sam Gagner's incredible hot streak continued Saturday.
A day after notching four goals and four assists in an 8-4 Oilers victory, Gagner picked up right where he left off Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings, factoring in on Edmonton's first three goals in a 5-4 victory.
He scored two goals and assisted on another in the first period, giving him 11 points on 11 straight Oilers goals.
Then, for good measure, Gagner scored in the shootout.
"My first chance was a quality one and I was able to put it in," said the 22-year-old winger, whose amazing run had him trending worldwide on Twitter. "After that, I just wanted to get to the net and create as much as I could around there.
